Here is some history and some "insider" information about my area:
Addison: Located on the
northern edge of Dallas County, 10 miles north of downtown Dallas and
adjacent to the Dallas North Tollway, Addison is home to corporations such as
Pizza Hut, Comp USA and Mary Kay Cosmetics. Addison also has its own general
aviation airport and is only 15 miles from Dallas/Ft Worth International
Airport.
The
town is only 4.3 square miles in area and features several upscale residential
areas. With over 135 restaurants, 21 hotels, Valley View and The Galleria
regional shopping malls located within 5 square miles, Addison is also a haven

Carrollton: Carrollton has
a population of 111,400 and is approximately 38 square miles in area. There
have been over 1,200 new business expansions and relocations in the City since
1986, which has added over 40,000 people to Carrollton's workforce. Carrollton
is the ninth largest city in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Residents are
relatively young and well educated. The average age is 32 with 70% of the
population between 18-64. Nearly 75% of residents 25 and older have continued
their education beyond high school.
DFW
International Airport, the second busiest in the world, is 10 miles west of
Carrollton. Travel time from DFW to any major city in North America is less
than four hours.
Interstate 35E intersects the City of Carrollton and converges
with Interstate 35, a route linking Canada, Mexico and the Unites States. The
recently completed President George Bush Turnpike (SH-190) is a major 6-lane
east-west toll road highway bisecting the City.
The
City of Carrollton is served by three school districts: Carrollton/Farmers
Branch ISD, Dallas ISD, and Lewisville ISD. For additional education

Coppell: The City of
Coppell has become a very desirable destination for many families relocating to
the area. Located just five miles north of DFW International Airport,
Coppell is an extremely convenient location for those with the need to travel
extensively.
The
City covers an area of 14.71 square miles and has approximately 35,000
residents with an average age of 31.9 years. The median home value in Coppell
is approximately $165,000.
Cities adjacent to Coppell are Grapevine, Flower Mound,
Lewisville, Carrollton and Irving. The City is served by the exemplary
rated Coppell Independent School District and the Carrollton/Farmers Branch
School District. Coppell was ranked the 9th "Best Place to Live" in North Texas
according to "D" Magazine.
